"The mind is like the wind and the body like the sand: if you want to know how the wind is blowing, you can look at the sand." - Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen.

We connect to ourselves not only through thoughts. We learn about life and the world through our senses, emotions, and actions. We perceive information through sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste, feeling, temperature, direction, pace, weight, and intensity. We react not only as a result of thought but, more importantly, as a result of feeling. Our habitual ways of thinking and acting result from emotional reactions. This knowledge is fundamental for coaches because people - and our clients, live in chronic stress. It is required knowledge given the need for self-regulation of emotions.

During the session, I will share how, using photographs and embodiment, clients discover transformative solutions in areas that are difficult to change. These are related to habitual reactions, such as aggression or withdrawal in various contexts - professional, private, and personal.

Participants will have the chance to learn about techniques of Body Mind Centering™, Somatic Experiencing™ and Photography in Coaching based on a case study.
