The name Team Coaching has served a purpose and given a helpful spotlight to the coaching community on working with teams. And ever since the founding gurus of human and organisational behavioural science in the post war era, there have been specialists that have worked with teams. Before them elders who supported tribes and clans to ensure better outcomes were achieved, so can we use the thing called Team Coaching without giving respect to its roots?

Our aim is to link Team Coaching back to its roots and to explore its uses and outcomes in today's organisations (using case studies), challenging some of the "rules" that seem to be unquestioningly accepted by practitioners in our field about how it is, and can be used.
